This July, Carolina Ale House Wilmington held a Dining For A Cause event for Heidi’s Hope For Homeless Animals at WMA. Heidi’s Hope is a 501c3 organization committed to saving the lives of homeless dogs and cats and working towards a time when all dogs and cats have good homes. Their programs are aimed at the most vulnerable and those at risk of euthanasia.
Our Wilmington team got creative and used leftover broth to create “Doggie Beers” for pups that attended! This event overlapped with the Pups & Pints night that Carolina Ale House Wilmington holds on Wednesday, so there were lots of “good-boys-n-girls.”
Our community effort was a big success and Heidi’s Hope raised $850 and had over 100 pounds of food dropped off.
