Twenty-five years after 9/11, communities across the country came together to remember, serve and make a difference.
LM Restaurants was proud to take part in 9/11 Day’s 25th anniversary meal-packing event, with team members gathering in both North Carolina and Florida. Our Florida team packed meals at Hard Rock Stadium, while our North Carolina team joined the effort at the NC State Wellness & Recreation Center.
Together, 24 LM team members banded together to pack thousands of meals to support families facing hunger.
The nationwide event brought more than 50,000 volunteers together across all 50 states, with a goal of packing 20 million meals. The effort also marked the largest single-day meal pack in American history.
We’re grateful to the LM team members who took the time to show up, lend a hand, and serve their communities. Giving back in meaningful ways is part of who we are and reflects our mission to nourish our people, our community, and our world.
