Five months ago Elbert joined our Carolina Ale House Fayetteville, NC, location with a simple promise to his manager: he would never be late. And he meant it. For the past five months, Elbert has walked an hour to work, and an hour home, every single day… never once arriving late.
Inspired by his dedication, our management team decided to come together and surprise Elbert with a scooter to help cut his commute in half. This week, they had the honor of presenting it to him.
This is what taking care of your own looks like. Elbert has been a true blessing to the team, and we couldn’t be more grateful for his commitment and positivity. If you see him cruising around on his new ride, be sure to give him a well-deserved shoutout.
